NEW YEAR, NEW DEVICE "SECUREALERT UNVEILS NEW DEVICE AND SOLUTION "
SANDY -- SecureAlert recently unveiled its next generation offender monitoring device, TrackerPALTM II. During an internal kick off, employees were able to test and handle the device for the first time. “In a matter of months we have created a device, very different and unique from any device in the market, that answers the market’s needs,” said Scott Horrocks who was recently hired from EDS to head the product production.
The new device adds on the many of defining features of its predecessor, including two-way voice communication, real time GPS tracking, 95-decibel alarm and more. “We took a look at all the features of the TrackerPAL, what we saw was endless possibilities,” Horrocks explains.
Some of the additions include the combination of GPS and RF (radio frequency) technology. No phone line or power outlet required, the SecureAlert Beacon device is easy to set-up and can be placed in multiple locations ranging from an offender’s home or work. The beacon tethers the offender to that location transmitting an alarm when the offender leaves. When the offender has left he can be immediately tracked through the GPS inside the device. In short the new device can track offenders any where any time.
“The features of the new device are impressive, combine it with the Monitoring Center and the solutions are endless,” said Stephanie Virgen, inside sales account manager.
NEW SOLUTIONS
“With the added RF capabilities of the new device, we can now offer a comprehensive solution for gangs and domestic protection” said John Hastings chief marketing and sales officer.
The new solution could be the answer for the over 700,000 gang members throughout the nation. Utilizing the same technology SecureAerlt is preparing in the upcoming months to offer a solution for domestic protection. “While we can’t offer super hero strength as a protection, we will be able to offer victims advanced warning of a possible encounter with an abuser,” Hastings said.
In order to determine the impact of the new device company management engaged Castleberry Consulting to independently assess the new device’s ability to meet market needs and how it compares to the competition. Summarizing their findings Castleberry stated: “SecureAlert is poised to redefine the Electronic Offender Monitoring Industry over the next two years.”
