REMOTEMDx INVESTOR WEBCAST "INVESTMENT COMMUNITY TUNED IN AS COMPANY MANAGEMENT PRESENT PLAN"

3/19/08 – Today the investment community along with the general public participated in the Company’s first ever webcast.  Assistant to the chairman, Randy Olshen conducted the event.  The event included presentations from Company managers who represented the technical, sales and financial divisions of the Company.

TECHNICAL
Chief operating officer, Scott Horrocks presented the company’s technology.  A project leader from EDS, Scott was influential in several projects including the development of OnStar.  “I came to SecureAlert and RemoteMDx because of the dedication the Company has; continuing to innovate its service, products and Monitoring Center,” said Scott.  The original TrackerPAL was plagued with many problems associated with first generation devices.  “Due to market demands we rushed the product to the market manufacturing over 15,000 that was bought and paid for . . . as a result we encountered just about every problem possible,” Scott continued.  Device problems included problems with the removable battery, waterproofing, insets for the strap, the plastic housing and the charger.  “We were in the business of making batteries and chargers not devices,” explained Scott.

Under his leadership the technical team created a paradigm shift with the designing of the next generation device, the TrackerPAL II.  “We leveraged our investment with the electronics, using them in the new device,” said Scott.  The new device addresses the troubled features of it’s predecessor – better waterproofing, 60% stronger plastics, better inserts for the strap as well as improved GPS and speaker quality.  New features include a 24-hour plus internal battery and the addition of RF (radio frequency) technology combined with a beacon device allows for tracking indoors.

SALES AND MARKETING
The new sales and marketing officer, John Hastings presented the company’s plan to take the Company’s product to the market.  John came to the Company with over 25 years experience in building brands and bringing products to the market. Explaining his experience he recalled his experience with packaged food, “I was part of a team that took a small family restaurant – used their recipes to create frozen meals packaged them and took them to market . . . unable to enter the ‘Safe-ways’ or ‘Costcos’ of the world we sold our product through a small start-up retailer.  That start-up retailer was Wal-Mart. . We didn’t have the best product, but we understood our customer, the working mom and packaged the best solution to meet their needs. . . Offenders are our customers, agencies are the retailers; we need to understand all their needs and offer them a complete solution,”  John explained.  Outlining a roadmap to accomplish the Company’s goals new sales and marketing programs includes a realignment, refocused, result based sales for customer centric, branded solutions. Currently through all of RemoteMDx’s divisions the Company manages 9,500 offenders.  John outlined the opportunities to build from the foundation already laid and moving it toward the Company’s goals.

Michael Acton the chief financial officer, walked participants through the financial plan including profitability and cash flow analysis. “Based on the business as it stands not only with securealert and remotemdx, but with CPI and Midwest we have the money and finance in place to run our business ,” concluded Mike.  To view the webcast or download the presentation please visit the website at www.remotemdx.com.
