HomeAware™ Beacon – Compliments GPS Monitoring
The HomeAware™ Beacon is an RF transmitter that compliments the ReliAlert™ device. The Beacon is a completely self-contained, short-range transmitting station that communicates with the ReliAlert™ device and provides a continuous Radio Frequency (RF) signal. The ReliAlert™ device tracks using GPS until it comes into communication with the Beacon at which point, RF tracking is initiated. All information regarding the beacon is transmitted via RF to the ReliAlert™ device when it is in range. The ReliAlert™ device then transmits Beacon information to the Monitoring Center and the TrackerPAL™ software over GSM/GPRS cellular communication channels – no landline is required. This tracking combination increases the ability to maintain critical, accurate offender location information inside buildings and provide agencies with an effective way to “tether” an offender to a specific location. HomeAware™ E3 RF – Presence Monitoring The E3 RF System is a low-cost, easy-to-install system manufactured by 3M Electronic Monitoring that reliably monitors offenders with low-risk profiles and confinement requirements.
SecureAlert’s HomeAware™ E3 RF is a powerful, comprehensive presence monitoring system from 3M Electronic Monitoring that consists of a Home Monitoring Unit (landline or cellular), transmitter and monitoring software. The Transmitter is easy to install on the offenders ankle and has multiple tamper detection mechanisms. Signals from the transmitter are received by the Home Monitoring Unit when the in-range. The Home Monitoring Unit continuously verifies the presence or absence of an offender to ensure compliance with pre-established schedules. Violations are immediately transmitted to the central system and agency notification protocols are followed. |
